Three screenings in Scotland marked the premiere of the English version of THE LOCH LONG MONSTER. The film was shown at the Filmhouse in Edinburgh and at the GFT in Glasgow. Ben Kempas was the DOP on one of the first short films made on the new high definition cinematography and television standard 1080p. What's the buzz about HDCAM? For a technical diploma at HFF, cameramen Johannes Kaltenhauser and Ben Kempas are launching a comprehensive camera test which has not been done in this form in Germany yet. On October 8th, they will simultaneously shoot with 16 mm, 35 mm, Digital Betacam, and HDCAM cameras throughout Munich.
